History:
The Kia Stonic (Korean: 기아 우러덕) is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) produced by Kia Motors. The name comes from the words "trendy" and "iconic". Stonic was unveiled in Frankfurt on June 20, 2017 and in South Korea on July 13, 2017, and was launched in Q4 2017. It is sold as the Kia KX1 in China.
Summary:
Stonic Kia Stonic was unveiled for the first time at the 2017 German International Motor Show. It is the smallest model in Kia's SUV after the Niro, Sportage and Sorento. The Stonic shares its platform and interior with the fourth-generation Kia Rio.
Stonic has four engine options: turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder, 1.2-litre four-cylinder, 1.4-litre four-cylinder, and a 1.6-litre CRDi four-cylinder diesel engine.
Stonic ceased production in South Korea in September 2020 due to slow sales.
Stonic's facelift model will be assembled and sold in Pakistan as of November 2021. There are two models: EX and EX +. Both models are powered by a 1.4-liter Kappa II MPI I4 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Kia KX1:
Kia KX1 is a model developed by the Dongfeng Yueda Kia joint venture for China. While the KX1 and Stonic are similar, the KX1 has been slightly modified for the Chinese market, including revised bodywork, revised headlights and a new fuel tank. Additionally, the KX1 uses a completely different instrument panel design. The domestic model, which has a slightly longer body than the international models, has been changed from 4140 mm to 4100 mm, and its fog lights have been changed from boomerang-shaped LED headlights to round headlights. Compared to the Korean-made version, it lacks AEB, blind-spot monitoring and cruise control.
KX1 is powered by a 1.4-liter gasoline engine that produces 100 horsepower. The transmission is either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the KX1 equipment stands out with its infotainment system, climate control, rear view cameras and aerodynamic body kit.
KX1 has been exported to the Philippines under the Stonic brand since October 2020. In July 2021, Kia Philippines gifted the Stonic to female weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz for winning a medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics

Kia Stonic 2024 Overview:
Kia Stonic 2024 is a semi produced by Korean multinational Kia Motors It is a compact crossover SUV. It was first produced in South Korea in 2017 and then received a facelift in October 2020. Production was discontinued in South Korea in 2020 due to lack of popularity. But now the new facelift model will be available in Pakistan on November 8, 2021.
According to Kia, STONIC is derived from the words SPEEDY and TONIC, which are the first and last letters of music. The Stonic is the smallest Kia crossover in the Kia model portfolio, sitting two steps below the Sportage. The company promotes the Kia Stonic as a small car suitable for big entertainers and claims that it is suitable for long-distance driving as well as city trips.
The car is manufactured in Pakistan by Kia Lucky Motors. Completely Knocked Down (CKD) units of the KIA Stonic are ready to be delivered to dealers for display and test drives. This means that spare parts are easily available on the market.
Kia Stonic Exterior:
The stylish and bold design of Kia Stonic 2024 distinguishes it from its competitors. Kia's signature tiger-nose grille and muscular structure add to its beauty. While the Stonic EX comes with a matte black grille, the EX+ comes with a piano black grille. All models have LED daytime running lights, but the front and rear lights only have regular bulbs.
